I’m on the road this week — traveling to Indianapolis for NPMA’s Nuisance Bird and Wildlife Conference — but there’s no need to worry. Unlike some other editors
, I still plan on blogging while I’m out of the office.
As I mentioned in Monday’s post, this is the second year for NPMA’s wildlife conference. Last year, in St. Louis, was such a success the association decided to have another one this year (and, if the committee meeting last month is any indication, there may be another one next year).
On the agenda for tomorrow — which is packed — are sessions on FAA Certification and Opportunities at Airports; Managing and Scheduling Nuisance Wildlife Work; Developing an Effective Shooting Control Program to Manage Nuisance Birds; Raccoon Research and Challenging Wildlife Jobs, among others.
Be sure to stay tuned to Keeping it Simple for in-depth coverage from the conference, including the return of my video blogging.
Fun in West Lafayette
Since the wildlife conference doesn’t start until tomorrow, I’m heading up to West Lafayette today to visit with Gary Bennett at Purdue.
Why am I visiting with this industry icon? Well, you’ll just have to stay tuned to the December issue of Pest Management Professional magazine to find out
I’ll leave you with this video of the implosion of the RCA Dome, former home of the Indianapolis Colts (who now play at Lucas Oil Stadium). Who doesn’t love a good implosion?
